 STARTING SEPTEMBER 8, 2007 (Redmond)...
Beginning with the Central Oregon Rabbit Breeders Association Show in Redmond, Oregon, OLRCB Membership Services will begin a new contest called: Breeders Choice.
At each show there will be a class (held between the first and second shows) that will allow participating breeders to bring forth their best animals that they have personally bred. Entry Fees will be $5.00 per animal. The winning animal will receive a rosette. The judge may also award up to 5 flat ribbon Honorable Mentions.
Winners will get their picture in the next ORACLE, along with their name and the name of the rabbit/cavy. In June, at the OLRCB Convention, points will be tallied for all Breeder's Choice winners and honorable mentions awarded throughout the year and a OLRCB Master Breeder will be selected. The winning Breeder/Rabbit/Cavy will be announced at the OLRCB Awards Banquet.
All proceeds from the Breeder's Choice competitions will benefit the Forestler Fund. Participating judges will donate their expertise to this event. Judge's names will appear in the ORACLE with a special thank you!
